A Brief Introduction to the Water Supply Branch of the Zhengzhou Municipal Engineering and Prospecting Design & Research Institute

  The precursor of our design institute was the Design Institute of Zhengzhou Water Supply Corporation, which was established in 1984. It has been a leading firm in China with State-authorized Grade A certificates in geotechnical/hydrogeologic engineering and foundation engineering design and consultation. In June of 2004, the Design Institute of Zhengzhou Water Supply Corporation¡¯s ISO9001 Quality System was qualified after a conformity assessment. We united with Zhengzhou Municipal Engineering and Prospecting Design & Research Institute in April 2001; our main purpose is to provide the municipality with professional engineering, research and design for all aspects of the water supply.
Our design institute is comprised of 51 employees; the technical experts of the institute are 40 people. Amongst them, there are 10 high level and 3 national class registration designers. The institute uses the most advanced equipment for modern design techniques such as: color printer, color scanner, engineering scanner and so on. The equipment used at the institute, in particular the computers, was chosen because of their excellent reputation for the creation of designs that reach a 100 success rate.
