Shiyuan water plant named of a mordern garden plant is located at the side of Xiliu Lake which lies in the west of Zhengzhou.
With the rapid development of Zhengzhou economic society,Shiyuan water plant set up in1954 has become a largest water plant  with 310 registered employees of Zzwater .It takes responsibility to supply water for half of the west city area of Zhengshou and the capacity of water     supply  reaches 370,000 tons per day ,which accounts for over 40% of a day in total urban water supply .
Shiyuan water plant gets raw water from the Yellow River by pipes.The raw water is treated into drinking water by means of coagulation ,sedimentation,filtration,chlorination and so on . All treated water¡¯s turbidity is below 0.5NTU better than National Drinking Water Standards 1NTU.
After 4 times large-scales enlarginng construction and technology innovation in1959,1978,1986,2003.Shiyuan water plant has realized the automation of chloration ,auto-monitoring in water quality ,production control, safty monitoring and so on ,meanwhile ,the system of automation of coagulant dosing is to be put into use  in few days.
Prsently Shiyuan water plant  is aimming atto be a first class, mordern,outstanding water plant so as to supply much purer water for Zhengzhoou.
